Sad News...Gone but never forgotten...

Our trusted friend, companion and Spirit Dog, Kalu died today.

Kalu was 15 years old and has been with us since he was born. He was and always will be remembered for his kindness and love for all who knew him and were "in need."

When we got him, I had asked Great Spirit for a special dog to help me with the new work that Smiling Bear and I were beginning here on the land. We needed something special to add to our ceremonies and events. Thus came our Kalu. He was named after Jesse Kalu, a flute player and singer whom we met in Sedona, AZ.

Our hearts are heavy with sadness but his spirit will live on for many, including us, in the years to come. Kalu was known for his "style and dignity" right up until the end. He was assisted in his transition by our home vet, Dr. Carin Rennings. Both Smiling Bear and I were with him till his soul went soaring off. He is buried here on the land beside his favorite tree.

We trust and believe he is, indeed, Journeying Well.

Reiki classes forming: For September/October. I will offer Level I and Level II.

Reiki I (one day class) $145. One must have had a Reiki treatment before training can begin. Saturday classes are possible. Maximum # is 4. Suggest a date that works for you!

Reiki II (one day class) $175. Saturday classes available also. Maximum # is 4. Suggest a date that works for you!

Classes in the Shop/Barn:: Due to the extremely hot summer, classes in the Shop are on hold until cooler days return. Sorry to disappoint anyone who is seriously interested. Please let me hear from you so I can plan for Fall. It is a really fun-filled atmosphere for "liked minded spirits".
